Disclaimer

⚠️ If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a medical emergency, or having thoughts of suicide or self-harm — call 000 (Australia), 911 (US), or your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on this app in an emergency.

Not Medical Advice

Sober Companion is a motivational support tool, not a medical device, clinical service, or substitute for professional addiction treatment. The AI responses provided through this service are not medical advice, psychological counselling, or clinical guidance of any kind.

Not a Replacement for Professional Help

Sober Companion is designed to complement — not replace — professional addiction treatment, counselling, rehabilitation programs, or medical care. If you are struggling with addiction, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a qualified healthcare provider, addiction specialist, or support service in your area.

AI Limitations

Responses generated by the Sober Companion AI are produced by a large language model and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or suited to your specific situation. The AI does not have access to your medical history and is not a licensed professional.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Sober Companion makes no guarantees regarding sobriety outcomes. Recovery is a personal journey and results vary widely between individuals. Use of this app does not guarantee sobriety, improved health, or any other specific outcome.
